"High Fold is a Lakes District gem!"

Jackie was a lovely, welcoming host throughout our stay and we enjoyed our many conversations with her. The home is nestled in a beautiful green valley in the heart of the Lakes District, but away from all the bustling crowds. We enjoyed a very comfortable room, and public foothpaths right outside the home. We looked forward to her deliciously fresh breakfasts made with local ingredients each morning. High Fold is a gem!

Our stay at High Fold Guest House was exceptional in every way. We loved the village where it was located, the hike to Ambleside, the delicious breakfast, the large, clean room and bathroom, the extremely comfortable bed, and most of all the host, Jacky, who was friendly and helpful in every way. We only wished our stay could have been longer but would recommend this place to anyone!

The bed was just okay. It probably needs replaced. I have had much worse.
