"A perfect, relaxing stay in a stunning location!"

A perfect stay from start to finish. We came back each day to a freshly made up room and homemade cakes (with a vegan option!) which was lovely after a long day out hiking. The brekkie was fab with a stunning view. The toiletries provided in the room were a lovely quality and made locally. A lot of care is taken to make your stay enjoyable. We would love to come back one day!

Excellent facilities with excellent host. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble, including sourcing lactose free milk for us.

Only the pickiest would find a fault. The average Traveller would be delighted with the facilities.

"Lovely B&B in a great location."

Clean, comfortable B&B with views over the fells. Jackie is a very welcoming host, who prepares a great cooked breakfast and home made cakes every afternoon. Two pubs for evening meals within walking distance.

"A beautiful place to stay in Troutbeck"

We loved everything about our stay - very comfy, clean bedroom with beautiful views, a modern bathroom with great shower, amazing breakfast, stunning location and Jackie was a lovely host. Lots of lovely little touches like the homemade cake, local produce at breakfast and Lake District products in bathroom - it was a wonderful place to stay and we didn't want to leave! :)
