Penzión Tücsök

Clean small hotel close to main road to Gabčíkovo. We had a huge rom (no4 reccommended). Restaurant with excellent services and good food. We enjoyed local bean soup Jokai for the dinner and classic ham and eggs for the breakfast. Parking adjacent to the main building.

Bathroom has the best times already passed and really needs the upgrade. Breakfast is not included in the price and you have to select and pay according to standard menu. To me its strange as once you are hotel guest paying the room, breakfast should be a bit disconted.

Nice rooms, air-conditioning everywhere and friendly personnel. The restaurant is good too, the price range absolutely ok.

The plumbing or some other utility makes an awful noise, it even woke me up at dawn. Otherwise its perfect.

Charming place with great atmosphere, it looks like many locals going there to eat. We were traveling and came here for one night. The food looks delicious (unfortunately we didnt have time to try it). The girl with black hair and tattoos, and older woman from the staff are so kindly! I definitely recommend this place.

The beds are very comfortable, rooms are big and nice.

The breakfast is only from 9, so we coludn't wait for it.

Everything, staff, room, food, location for Šamorin, will stay again next year.

It was perfect

The place was very close to Samorin, where I attended a triathlon. The food in the restaurant was very-very good, the bean soup is just great. And not to mention the friendliness of the staff. Speaking of staff, they have one of the most beautiful slovakian girls there, always smiling and taking few moments to ask you if everything is ok.

The room I stayed in was quite small and basic, I think 2 persons might have stepped on each others feet there. Also, the fonic isolation was not the best, you could hear the cars that were passing by outside. Yet, during the night there was almost no traffic, so not really a huge problem.

The location was nice and quiet and the staff were very helpful

The staff were great, helpful and all spoke English. Good facilities, easy to get to and find, a good menu selection. Good value for money

Unfortunately they had a function on 2 of the nights we stayed and it was noisy (we were pre-warned), but not ideal. Would have liked a kettle to have a coffee in the morning, there was one in a communal area, but it then somehow disappeared!
