Penzion Javorina

It was lovely to have the opportunity to stay in one of the typical buildings of the the village. Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a little balcony. We had dinner at the hotel which was delicious and reasonably priced. As it was mild weather we were able to eat outside. The buffet breakfast was also good.

The kitchen closes a bit too early, at 8pm.

Our stay was truly enjoyable. The location was ideal for exploring the local village, experiencing its traditions, and indulging in delightful drinks at the restaurant. The relaxed atmosphere and charming surroundings made our exploration even more memorable.

It has really nice location right at the beginning of the beautiful authentic village, playground outdoor and indoor with plenty of toys ( don’t pack the toys literally no need)

There were ashtrays with left overs of some cigarettes and unwashed glasses on the terrace but we didn’t mind much about it, also there is balcony but sadly it’s little uneven and there are no ashtrays

The pension is located in a traditional wooden painted house, close to village museum. The restaurant is nice, the dinner was delicious. The welcome slivovitz drink was a nice bonus at the check in. The room was spacious.

There is only one breakfast option, and it wasn't great. The shower was uncomfortable, the water was lukewarm rather than hot.

Unique house and friendly staff! Liked the location of this property and very nice town.

So friendly! We went during Easter to enjoy traditional Slovakia and we weren’t disappointed. It’s in an amazing location so I’ll definitely come back for hiking too.
