I had such an amazing experience at the family homestay! The people were wonderful, and the atmosphere was cozy. Although it was a bit challenging to find the guest house due to the lack of signs, it's actually located right next to the Nallathanniya Buddha Statue. If you have trouble finding it, just ask the friendly folks at Mountain Villa Adam's Peak. They serve delicious meals, and it's the perfect place to stay if you're planning to hike Adam's Peak.

Very good location to hike Adam's Peak. Room was nice and bed was comfortable.

On the off-season the whole town and hotel were a ghost town. Had to wait 30 Minutes until the host came to open the rooms for us. The post said that breakfast was available, however, when asked they said they had no breakfast. The shower had no hot water.

One of the best stays of our trip! The room was very, very clean, it had a mosquito net, warm water and the best wifi we've had in Sri Lanka (once it was working) due to fiber connection. The owner was very friendly and let us check out late for free after our Adam's Peak climb. Also really delicious breakfast :)

Really kind and welcoming host. Location is perfect for Adam's peak trail. Comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom. Shower had only cold water which was alright at the time cause of warm weather. Only minus goes for ants that were in the bathroom and shower area at the time of departure

On arrival, Marshee (sorry if I have spelt this wrong!) Greeted us with a beautiful pot of tea and biscuits. We were shown our room and talked about setting off times for climbing Adams peak. Marshee was very helpful, chatty and friendly. We then again met Marshee after our hike at about 9am where we got the most beautiful breakfast. Super delicious and exactly what we needed. The room was comfortable and the mosquito net helps for a restful sleep.

We couldn't get heat from the shower but it's not an issue in this hot weather!

The location is perfect to start the hike to Adam's peak. The breakfast is huge and very tasty. The family is super friendly and helpful. They even prepared a sandwich for me to take to Adam's Peak. And there is a welcome tea. Thank you very much!

Hot easy to find, a sign would be helpful.

It is closest to the Sri Pada trail. Shops open outside day n night. Host most welcoming , food and service very good.

The place is difficult to find . No English language Name board outside identifying Lavendra hotel.. As you're coming down hill turn right before the big standing buddha. First driveway on the left side of parking area.
