Karoo Manor Guesthouse and Restaurant

The restaurant food was good.

The host was rude, came across actually racist towards my parents who was booked there for the night and the lady didn't show good manners and was actually reeking of alcohol when she approached the vehicle.. They were not accomodative to my parents as I didn't include my Son in the original booking due to a last minute stay. They asked me to pay an additional fee with no extra's. Definitely won't be booking here again.

It was perfect for an overnight stay. The room was spacious and had everything we needed (including an aircon!). Although not self-catering, there is a restaurant on the premises.

There really isn't much to dislike. If I had to nitpick, I would say the red lights from the charging switches in the room are distracting at night, but this is a minor inconvenience. Perhaps the restaurant could offer gluten-free and vegetarian options in future.

The town was a pleasant surprise. Easy access from N1. The room was fine and the air conditioning was a blessing. I did not go to the restaurant as it closes early and I was travelling alone. Overall a good experience.

On the main route. Eating dinner outside under the vines. Secure parking. Hosts were ready and waiting for us on our arrival. Lovely old house with aircon and the shower was powerful water flow.

A few teething problems with the aircon which was sorted out with a bit of trial and error, and internet was down in the area in the evening, but was working again in morning.
