Villa Preziosa

Villa Preziosa was a very peaceful and restful stay. The nuns are super attentive and kind. I was very comfortable throughout my entire stay. A very affordable option as well.

The shower was a little small.

The nuns who run the accommodation are very nice, and that's very important! The accommodation is in a very good location, the area is quiet, but not far from the center of Naples, and the train station is close by, and you can even reach Herculaneum on foot.

The accommodation is basically fine, but some rooms could do with a renovation, because they haven't been renovated since the 1980s. In my room, the bathroom had a bathtub the size of a shower tray, which I couldn't understand. There was no shower curtain, so the whole bathroom was wet after a shower. I didn't see the garden in the photos, unfortunately they didn't show it, although I would have liked to have breakfast outside. The breakfast, which they describe as plentiful, is unfortunately not enough, at least if you plan an active program for the whole day afterwards and don't want to sit in the room. What's very strange is that they don't give you a key to the gate, so every time you want to enter the accommodation, you have to ring the bell and they open the gate from the inside, which is quite unpleasant, because I didn't want to disturb anyone. Plus, you have to be back at the accommodation by 11pm.
