It's really very close to the historic center and the seaside. The owner, Sandra, is very helpful, tries to answer every questions. In the room they provided maps of Triest. Since I grew up using printed maps I quite appreciated this.

Our room was on the third floor with no elevator, so you should come here only if you have strong legs. The biggest catch for us was the fact that they asked us not to open the windows. They provided a portable air conditioning machine which was a bit noisy so you had to decide if you sleep in noise or in heat. There are no parkingplaces around so you either put your car into a paying parkinglot or you could move it severeal streets away (we find parking place about 1km away) where it's allowed to park on the street for no residents (but at least that's for free). The town is very bike friendly though with lots of bike parkingplaces. Also, on a weekend if you don't get up early it's almost imposibble to park with car on the beaches nearby.

It is a great and very clean apartment in the heart of Triest for a reasonable price. Sandra was very kind and helpful, she provided all the relevant information to our stay. The bathroom is outside the room but you can use as a private bathroom.

1. 3rd floor without elevator 2. Restroom is outside of the room, did not mention a lot on explanation about it 3. You have the room but the door is opaque glass so even visible when someone is close to the door, likites transparency 4. They market it as "historic" but it is basically old and could be allergenic for people sensitive to the wood, as floor were creaking on each step 5. Why checkout is until 9am? This is not people wake up on vacation
