It was a wonderful stay! Nothing was too much trouble for the host. She was available whenever I needed her with helpful advice and suggestions of where to visit etc. The apartment was lovely and quiet and very comfortable, with many added touches to make me feel at home. I will definitely stay again when I never visit Trieste.

I didn't realise the apartment was on the 3rd floor and there wasn't a lift so it was a struggle to get my luggage up the stairs. I soon realised and learnt that nowhere in Trieste has lifts, it's all walk-up stairs, so I can't fault the apartment or host :-) I'll be better ready for that next time I visit.

Very nice vintage apartment in the center and heart of Trieste, host is very pleasent and open for comunication, will visit again.

Single beds are a bit small but that’s all.

Fist of all location. The room is spacious and looks nice with a smell of old items and all those vintage things like maps, suitcases and wooden floor.

When I entered the apartment and saw a naked lady in a towel coming out the bathroom and a few others in a corridor my first thought was it was a hostel! The only difference is that even the cheapest hostel has a shared kitchen. Here no kitchen at all, no tea kettle we hoped to find according to booking and our reservation. Some latest reviews describe nice breakfast. I wander what breakfast? I had no possibility just to boil a milk or fry an egg or at least to drink some tea. Absolutely impossible to sleep at night because of extreme heat and noise outside even with closed windows. The nearest parking was a bit far from this place.
