We loved the area, Zeberio is wonderful, so scenic. Beautiful woodlands, streams, rivers. Easy access to the train station in Ugao Mirabelles, for direct trains into the heart of Bilbao. The host, Michaela was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Michaela even brought us a kettle.

The room was not very soundproof and we could hear the guests in the next room. They could obviously hear us too.

The apartment was very spacious with a nice balcony to sit out. Eating could be in or out. Views across a valley, we had neighbours in the next apartment, but not overlooked. The apartments are owned by the village and managed by the lady who runs the taberna. Michaela was very fluent in English and very helpful. Whole place very clean, wonderful beds, huge shower. We tend to cook quite a lot rather than eat out in the evening. Michaela told us let her know if anything missing,and brought us a kettle. Parking in front of apartments. Pretty village, but no shops, but the Taverna will supply bread. If you go to Bilbao, which is much nicer than we expected, use the train, hosts will give info.

Wi fi available but tends to be patchy because of the hills. Be aware that most of signage now in Basque language, remember you phrase book, but everyone very helpful.
