Location, comfortable space, close to amenities and train station.

The location was great and the bed was comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly and the host helped us make one restaurant booking which we appreciated.

There were many problems with place. We stayed for 4 nights and would not recommend staying any longer than two. I think it is misleading to call this a "flat" when there are no extra facilities beyond what one would expect in a hotel room. Some problems: - the floor was dirty from the moment we arrived. We had to dust off our feet every time we hopped in bed. - while there were coffee cups and wine glasses, there was no way to clean them, and since the room is unserviced, they were never replaced. - the heaters are ineffective and difficult to operate. - the power shorted twice during our stay. Once because we turned on a second heater (it was very cold in the room) and once when we used the kettle. - there is nowhere to hang towels. Usually this wouldn't bother me that much, but it's a problem when you're spending 4 nights in an unserviced hotel room. - the hot water only lasted for 5 mins These are just a few of the issues that spring to mind. This place could easily be improved with some simple changes. While we still enjoyed our time in Vernazza, I certainly wouldn't recommend this accommodation for a stay of more than 2 nights.

The location was great! The decor was cute - designed like a beach house. It was very clean.

The lady that greeted us spoke very little English so it was hard to converse. We were left with a half roll of toilet paper so we were rationing the sheets. The shower flooded over onto the floor because it was stopped up. If you have mobility issues you may not be able to walk up the steps into the room as there were about 15 steep steps to climb.

Beautiful spacious room with a spotless bathroom. Coffee machine was much appreciated. The flat is right in the heart of the village, close to everything.

Everything was perfect.

Considering the overall prices in Vernazza during the peak season this is an absolut find!! You can't get any more central location than this and the flat is very cozy, beautiful, spacious and functional. The owner was very kind and helpful. Short walk to the train station where it's very easy to go check out the neighbouring villages as well (only a couple of minutes by train).

There is no A/C in the room except for a cooling machine that is super loud. We tried to keep it on for a while but chose to be hot instead of the noise. Luckily the night time wasn't too hot. This is definitely not the flat's fault but good to keep in mind that Vernazza is v_e_r_y crowded during summer (especially August, I think), so the street is packed with people and you have to que to every restaurant etc.
