Jackie and her family were very kind and welcoming and we felt more like visiting friends than just renting a place to stay.

I didn't like the fact that there was animal fur in almost everything. I found cat fur in the milk that was stored in the fridge for us. There was fur in the breakfast served and the service during breakfast was pathetic. Bathroom towels were old and used

Super lovely hosts, great breakfast, cozy apartment and garden

The air in the apartment was a quite moldy and dusty, so it would be great if the hosts could regurlarly ventilate the rather old house before new guests are coming or when the apartment is empty. Load shedding seems to be an issue in the area, however this is not under control of the owners. This is complaining on a high level... we really loved our stay and would recommend it!

The owners were very gracious and tried to assist us when we arrived on a Monday evening, half an hour before the shops closed and could not find anywhere open to eat. They also allowed us to cancel our second night due to our disappointment with the location. The breakfast was good ! This BnB would be ideal for business travellers.

Location, access to restaurants.The town of Bergville was run down and not at all what we were expecting and so we cut short our stay albeit at a penalty and went into the heart of the Drakensburg for the second night of our stay
