The location was good The initiative behind the running of the hotel is really thoughtful

I would have preferred to have the smaller appliances like a kettle in my room

Had a great stay.

Unfortunately misplaced my Apple Watch at the property. I'm hopeful they will contact me if it turns up

Walls were a bit thin

Fred, the manager does a tremendous job welcoming and making you feel at home. The location is great within walking distance of Long St, CBD. Room with Ensuite was just what a weary traveller needed, nice and clean. Room had a fan which was great as Cape Town was very hot at the time that I arrived. The money raised from accommodation, goes back into helping those in need in Cape Town- loved supporting this venture.

One extra pillow would have been lovely.

Meeting the other residents and sharing tips with travellers

A little nervous about going out on my own. Needed to be more careful of belongings. But it was good to team up with other travellers and to go out with them.

Clean, quiet, well managed building with a colourful exterior. The host Fred was helpful, gave a thorough tour of the facilities, and allowed me to drop off my luggage for storage before check-in time on a public holiday (January 1). I had conversations with some friendly guests in the shared kitchen. Revenue from guest accommodation supports non-profit programs for refugees. Close walking distance to restaurants and shops.

The building gets very hot in summer weather and there is no air conditioning. Although the Wifi was reliable, it was a challenge to work there all day due to the extreme heat. The rooms along the front of the building have views of a parking lot and apartments across the street.
