Villa Selena - 1830s Art-House Suites in Vaporia, 50m from Asteria Beach

the property is an excellent location. it is stylishly designed. we had a room with the sea view which was just fabulous. and there is access to a swimming spot just across the street the bed was very comfortable . Maria and Zoe made us feel so at home, Zoe with her fantastic breakfast and Maria with finding us things to do and arranged everything for us.

The breakfast was the highlight every day! Fresh fruit salad, delicious homemade breads, cakes, biscuits, pancakes, fresh squeezed orange juice, wonderful quiches, sandwiches. Everything was delicious!

We had a little bit of trouble unlocking and locking the doors. The church bells were beautiful, but a little bit much on Sunday morning.

The property has an incredible location, fabulous view, tasteful and lively decoration. In addition, the hotel staff is exceptional, very friendly, personable and well organised.

There is nothing not to like

Very warm welcome, they make you feel at home. Excellent service, amazing rooms, delicious breakfast, quiet place, really special local bathroom amenities, and a welcome traditional sweets basket was everything I could ask for.

We were welcomed by 2 local ladies who run the kitchen. They we so friendly, we felt right at home. the breakfast was a treat, every day fresh homemade delicious food!! The hotel is located on the edge of the town on the seafront, so you can walk anywhere for diner. we will certainly come back!!

Villa Selena is one of the best places I’ve stayed in Greece, out of the 10 times I’ve been to Greece. In summary, the room and the establishment was so clean, such a nice, extremely large room with a sea view. Most importantly, the people were the most hospitable, warm and thoughtful people I have come across. They offered for us to use the shower and bathroom after our check out given we were coming back from the beach and having to return to athens by ferry later that afternoon. They also make homemade delicious breakfast each morning, as though you are in your auntys greek kitchen. Couldn’t fault this place.

Nothing to dislike.

Villa Selena was entirely worth it and the quality of the experience exceeded its price. The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. The hotel’s luxury quality is equally met with the sensation that you are at home, with kind and helpful staff at every turn and a kitchen that you can pop into at any time for a snack or a drink. We also loved how easy it was to go down to Astoria beach for a morning swim and then have our delicious homemade breakfast with one of the most beautiful views in the whole city.

Liked everything. Some communication before checking in would have been an extra nice touch.
