Cacao Rooms

Big, beautiful, comfortable, clean room next to the river and a café that served the best chocolate ice cream. Great location for exploring the city.

A little expensive. Our room was on the ground floor (partially underground) facing the café seating on the river. There were many people right outside the window, sometimes sitting in front of the window. Regardless, it felt very safe, just busy.

Location was the best, right in the heart of the old town.

Right in the heart of the old town. Lovely large clean and very well presented room. Has very comfortable firm bed, great towels and bedding. Really good private bathroom. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Loved our stay. Would stay again

Wifi wasn't working - they apologised for that - really didn't impact at all!

Very central location right in the heart of the city. The double room was lovely - spacious and very comfortable with a huge bathroom. Check in staff from the cafe next door were lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast at the cafe was fantastic next morning.

The second room we booked was a twin (as it was all that was left) and was at the back of the property. Very dark and the beds were small. A bit depressing. Big contrast to the two lovely double front bedrooms.

Location is perfect.

No refrigerator in a hotel which does not provide breakfast is not convenient to buy our own food. It is critical that we need to join tours in early mornings when no shops sells breakfast. It has no water boiler so that we cannot prepare tea or coffee on our own.
