The rooms where clean and the staff was cool.

The location of the guest house is exceptional. Within reach of public transport too.

There were renovations during our stay and posed a lot of noise.

Anyway breakfast is something else. Marvelous supperb extra ordinary lodge. My all life is in lodge but this is number one

It was decorated, alright. On the surface, it looked good.

1. People were drinking right in front of the reception desk. 2. The microwave did not work. 3. The power was not on; it came on for about 30 minutes without anyone notifying us earlier in the day. 4. The pillows were rock hard, and there was a big dent in the mattress. 5. There was only one small towel for two people. 6. There were roaches. 7. The towel rack was not attached to the wall. 8. The security gate was just for show, as you could not lock it, and the sliding door lock was flimsy.
