Family rooms have a minimum of 4-6 people. Anyone who books for less or shows up for less then HIUSA has the right to move that party under 4 to a shared dormitory accommodations. Please note: Hostel can only honor online bookings of 9 guests maximum. If you have 10 or more guests in your booking, please contact the hostel as different policies apply. Please note: There is a 14 night maximum stay per year, consecutive or nonconsecutive dates. Hot tub is scheduled, has extra fee and is a 4-person maximum. Guests will receive a rental agreement, which must be signed and returned directly to the property prior to arrival.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Fantastic!"

Beautiful location with the best view. Sat at the picnic table at the back of the building and watched the waves and seals jumping in and out of the ocean. Caught a glimpse of whale far far away coming up for air. People respected the "quiet-time" policy faithfully.

Didn't stay long enough. I would recommend at least a 2 night stay to fully enjoy this beautiful place. Perhaps adding a vending machine would be great. No enough TP in the restroom.

Me encantó las vistas al mar y el paisaje con el faro, el sonido del mar. La experiencia del jacuzzi frente al mar estuvo excelente. Vimos 2 elephant seals. También me gustó ver diversidad de animales (conejos, venados, elephant seals) y pájaros (variedad de pelícanos, y gaviotas).

El compartir baño, pero ya sabíamos que así es el sistema de hosteles.

What an incredible delight to stay at a historic lighthouse! Shared facilities at the hostel were impeccably clean and instructors for keeping the kitchen sanitary were clear and comforting. I would have liked to stay much longer. Staff very friendly.

Uno de los mejores hostels en los que he estado. Es literalmente frente al mar y muy en un predio que contiene un faro. Es cómodo, tranquilo y el entorno es inmejorable. Muy recomendable.
