The hotel was located just off the motorway.

This may be a convenient stopping point just off the motorway, but it is not the best place for a restful night sleep. When we arrived at the hotel and my partner went check it about parking. When we tried to enter the hotel the door was locked and we had to wait outside 15 mins with another family even though my partner has been inside minutes earlier. The room smelt strongly of pine cleaner. We had to leave the windows open for hours but it still was breathe taking. We could hear everything in the hallway and road with the doors and windows closed. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable. We found the room to be too basic and the walls to be very thin.
