Penzion Areal Zamma

Charming room next to a great pizzeria...what more could a person want? Secure parking and very near to the city center and exit from town. The hostess is very friendly and accommodating. I arrived early and needed to extend a day, and she was very flexible. Short walk into town for coffee in the morning, or enjoy the room's provided tea and coffee. Modern bathroom (I stayed in Room 1) and fixtures. Fridge was a huge plus to store snacks and beverages, especially when getting used to the time change related to travel. I'll definitely come to Zamma when I return!

Nice and clean rooms, very friendly owner, good location close to the city centre. Good restaurant just next door.

The site is close both to the city centre and to the bus station, meaning a 15 mins walk at an easy pace to the latter one. The room is OK with much storage space. The outdoor infrared sauna is a great addition. The garden is well-kept with green lawn, something always in blossom and furnished with several benches, chairs. The personnel are really kind and helpful.

Sometimes the wifi connection was intermittent due to ISP interruption and one night there was an electric outage for several minutes. The fridge in the room is a bit noisy due to its fan ventilation. The neighbouring restaurant is annoying with guests in its garden until around midnight. Though, with closed windows and earplugs it doesn't bother sleeping (room N˚1, windows opening to the garden).

The Penzion is a gated area so we were able to park our car in the locked area which was nice. The room was large with a very large bathroom. Comfortable bed and nice balcony to sit out on overlooking a lovely yard area. There is a nice restaurant right next door which we ate out both nights. Food was very good. Room had Netflix which was nice for watching tv in the evening. Just as a note, this area in Slovakia speaks little to no English. Be sure to have google translate handy

No AC. Luckily it was cooler during this part of our trip so the windows could be left open while we slept. Sadly, the downside of that was you could hear all the early morning noise (dogs barking etc)

A lovely accommodation situated very close to the main square in town. An outdoor area means you can enjoy the morning sun. There is a great restaurant next door, which can be a bit loud with the music, but once you've eaten there, all is forgiven! 🙂
