Gasthaus Hotel Pfeifferling

The room was large and comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic! We arrived later than intended, but the restaurant stayed open for us and offered us a great dinner with a bottle of wine. The breakfast, especially the bread, was fresh and very good. There were homemade options as well as lunch meat and cheese as normal in Germany

There were two hotels with the same name very near each other. We went to the wrong one first and had a very delicate journey through the very dark forest late at night.

Het was zeer schoon, alles wat nodig is was er. En zeer vriendelijk meedenkend personeel. We waren eigenlijk te laat om nog bij het restaurant te bestellen maar ze hebben een uitzondering gemaakt en nog 2 heerlijke maaltijden voor ons bereid.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön, Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden. Das Zimmer (mit Waschbecken) war an sich ok, die Betten-Anlage war gut, bequeme Matratze. WLan war auch gut. Die Brötchen und der Kaffee waren lecker.

Etwas kurz angebundenes Personal, Das Frühstück (bis auf Brötchen und Kaffee) war eine Katastrophe. Vieles war verpackt, bei Käse lag noch nicht mal ein Messer dabei. Die Joghurt-"Eimer" standen lieblos herum. Die Badezimmer, die wir hatten, sind gewaltig in die Jahre gekommen, die WC-Bürste übelst. Es wirkte insgesamt nicht wirklich sauber. Oberhalt des Badfensters, wo sich der Rolladenkasten befindet, waren die Fliesen so locker, dass ich mich noch nicht mal getraut habe, die Jalousie herunter zu lassen, weil ich befürchten musste, dass sie mir auf den Kopf fallen.

Large, room, lots of sunlight. Plenty of power points. Hotel bar & restaurant, great beer and dinner at a good price. Was given secure garage parking for my motorbike. Excellent breakfast.

I really like room 28 - only a few stairs to take our luggage. I liked having two chairs in the room; big windows let in light.

Towels need to be refreshed as they are tired and worn. I knew it was several miles outside Wolfhagen but there is nothing around there. It is really just good for sleeping/reading.

Staff was very friendly, food in the restaurant and breakfast are good.
