Anugrah Borobudur

The room was nice and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the temple, with several good places to eat nearby. A great option if you're planning to visit the temple and want a peaceful place to stay.

Great location for a temple visit. Rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. Super helpful host answering my many questions and arranging transfer transport for us to and from Yogyakarta. Freshly prepared breakfast.

The bed is super comfy . Location is very near to borubudor.

This is not the fault of the owners, but just a few days before my arrival the Borobodur temple grounds main entrance gate was relocated about 1.2km's further away. I got lost on my arrival from the bus station due to confusing sign posting and because the distance specified is not accurate (the new entrance gate is further). In the end I arrived very late for check-in. The Homestay is a bit of a distance walk from restaurants that a comprehension menu (the nearest one is a Thai restaurant), but there are small local restaurants nearby. Since I only stayed one night I might have been better off booking in the town's centre.

Spacious clean room without unpleasant smells. Very cozy in the hotel courtyard. Everything is within walking distance: a restaurant, shops and Borobudur itself.

I strongly recommend that you take care of entrance tickets for the ascent to Borobudur in advance, otherwise even this wonderful place will not please you. I recommend buying tickets on the official website of the complex at least 3 weeks in advance.

A quite impolite beginning due to doubts about payment changed for the better and the owner ended up being the nicest woman on earth 😊
