On the positive side, the place is quiet and peaceful, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free.

During my trip to Italy, I stayed at Deko Rooms both on the way there and on the way back. The first time I was in room 4, which is slightly larger, but the sink was clogged and full of water. The second time we stayed in room 2, which is very small, the bathroom has no floor drain, and the floor in the room was not cleaned.

In time of booking it was mentioned that it has a kitchen. But the room does not have kitchen. Only an electric kettle was there. Room was so small. It’s not a value for money.

Todo muy bien. Un poco alejado del centro de la ciudad. Podes ir caminando en menos de 30 minutos o tomar el tren.

Not within easy walking distance from Ljubljana attractions - though easily overcome with public transport.

The only positive is that they agreed on earlier check in.

I can’t speak for the other rooms, but I will review Room 2. Unfortunately, our stay was not a pleasant experience. The room was small, which we already knew, but the overall conditions were disappointing. The bed was a fold-out bed with a very uncomfortable mattress. There was a hanger placed above the fridge, but it was completely impractical, as anything hung there would fall onto the fridge. In reality, there was nowhere to put our clothes.The room had no windows, making the atmosphere feel suffocating, and there was a strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom pipes throughout our stay, which made it difficult to sleep and spend time in the room. Cleanliness and amenities were also lacking. The kettle was dirty, with water and limescale inside, so we couldn’t use it. There were almost no basic amenities—not even a tea bag. The bicycles offered were in very poor condition. What disappointed us the most was the lack of hospitality. No one welcomed us upon arrival or said goodbye when we left, and we were never asked if everything was okay during our stay. Overall, this was not a value for money option. Although we knew the location required a 20–25 minute walk to the center, we expected a comfortable stay, which we did not get. For these reasons, we would not choose to stay here again.
