Mary's Tranquil B&B

Mary is a very nice and attentive hostess. Her attention to detail is evident throughout the apartment. Everything was there, very clean and in the right place. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Thank you Mary for your attention and the good time I was able to spend with you.

The property was absolutely stunning, and the accommodation itself very modern but comfy, with everything you could possibly want/need. Mary was a great host, checking in with me the morning of my booking and ensuring everything was to my liking. Couldn't have gotten better accommodation anywhere else, or a better host!

Location was resort like and fabulous hosts.

Mary was very responsive and attentive during our stay. This is our first time using a B&B and we were truly bless to have found Mary; She was very friendly and welcoming. Mary shared her lovely avocados from her beautiful avocado orchard which we are grateful for. The place is truly a gem, we are sad we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be returning to Mary’s place.

We have no negative comments since we enjoy our stay very much. Highly recommended Great experience.

This will be a review more complicated and longer than usual. We are in our 70s and always dreamed of visiting New Zealand and, like most people who have children, jobs,ups, and downs during the long journey, we finally got here. The minute we drove up to the concrete house, we knew it was special. Mary came out to meet us ( she is even more beautiful than the house!). The house was spotless. Every blanket, pillow, towel, and dish are just perfect, and all this on 8 hectares!! The next shocker was that Mary and Neville owned a beach house in Matapouri with a view of the beach and bay with the same perfection. It's very hard to explain the level of elegance and detail In the decor... sort of fancy in a comfortable way but loving and warm like the owners of these two properties. We can't wait to come back, but 5 stars isn't high enough!
