Khaohom House

Owner was very friendly and kind - stayed up late to welcome me. Room was clean and minimalist with all the basic amenities. Nice hangout area for coffee downstairs and in spite of being a bit far from centre, there were decent restaurants and of course 7-11 nearby

Nice and hardworking staff, as many of Thai people, who are the kindest people I've ever met. There's a kind of shopping center right in front of the building as well, so it's easy to buy food.

There's a tae-kwon-do training room in the second floor, so when there's trainning sessions happening and kids running around, the building feels like it's being through an earthquake. It gets really noisy. Another thing you might consider is that there's literally no sound proof system on the walls or doors, so you can hear every noise coming from the corridors or from the room next door. I was lucky enough to share walls with a room that there was probably 3 or 4 loud non-sense teenage girls who were laughing and talking loud until 2am on a Monday. That was something that really annoyed me since I had to catch a flight the other day at 6am. Basically didn't sleep at all on my second night there.

-It’s very close to the airport! -such a huge room, perfect for rearranging your luggage right before a flight! -it was clean -they offer a free trip to the airport in the morning! Ours was at 4:30am so we really appreciated that!

-when we checked in it was very hard. I honestly didn’t know if I was at the right place or not -it’s very hard to find on google or to book a grab too. It’s like the place doesn’t exist. -you have to carry all your luggage up 4 flights of stairs and it’s not easy. -the shower does not get hot at all
