Baitong Homestay is a special, possibly unique place to stay in Chiang Mai. For a couple, or a single person - it gives excellent value for money - as well as a super positive sense of 'belonging' to the Baitong family - along with all the other guests. The 'included' breakfast is excellent - a choice of delicious Western egg/omelette based options, or a delicious traditional Thai style 'porridge'. Both come with excellent homemade bread + cheese/jams - plus unlimited quality coffee or tea. The rooms are perhaps a little small and thin-walled for a 10/10 ... but the hosts and Baitong team, and the local area more than compensate for this ... and after all, it is a 'homestay' not a 4 star hotel. Highly recommended- if you're lucky enough to find a free room, don't hesitate to stay ... a week or more.

"I would stay again"

The place is an oasis in the city. In a very quiet neighborhood a short walk to the old city. The owners and staff are accommodating and just plain nice to be around. Breakfast everyday is delicious. I stayed 1 week, then came back for 2 more!

La gentillesse des propriétaires et de la dame qui y travaille. Le petit-déjeuner est très bon, en particulier le pain fait par le proprio. Plutôt tranquille.

"Meine Empfehlung für Chiang Mai."

Das Baitong ist eine ganz tolle Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht besonders groß, aber man hat alles was man braucht zu einem fairen Preis. Die Gastgeber tun fast alles, um es den Gästen so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Das selbstgebackene Brot zum Frühstück ist echt lecker und somit eine willkommene Abwechslung zum asiatischen Einheits- Toast.

Die Betten sind unangenehm hart. Sogar noch härter, als man es in Thailand eh schon gewöhnt ist. Ich sagte das dem Hausherren und er kümmerte sich unverzüglich um einen schönen weichen Matratzen-Topper. So geht Service.
