Bjork Guesthouse

Set off the main road through the tiny town not far from lots of attractions (both east and west), the guesthouse overlooks a huge lake and distant mountains. It is unmanned and the codes to the front door and room all worked fine. The hallways and room were all very clean and there was plenty of parking. Both the room and bathroom were huge with plenty of space everywhere and the bed and duvet were really comfortable and the heat worked quite well. The shower was spacious with good water pressure and plenty of hot water and the liquid soaps at the sink and shower were nice. Around the corner is another guesthouse (with quaintly decorated common areas including historic photos) at which we had a tasty dinner and also breakfast that offered a great cold buffet. The communications from the owners (two brothers - an interesting story) were clear and it was nice to know that we could get some discounts at nearby places by mentioning our stay at Bjork.

No TV in the room but was not a problem as we went to sleep early after a long day of hiking.
