Pasanchai Bungalow

The location and garden are nice. There are older and newer bungalows, the newer bungalows are very nice, the older ones are rudimentary. The staff is polite.

We booked online and got the oldest bungalows on the compound. It was only possible to choose between aircon and fan and we booked aircon but got the bungalow in the back, with no view, very old, dirty bathroom. We asked to change but all other bungalows were booked through walk-in guests. Bathrooms are old and not clean.

Lovely place with really nice staff and great food. Relaxing place located right by the river, but it's still just 2 minutes over the bridge to the main street. And just because this was written sometimes: You don't have to pay any fee to cross the bridge.

Don't expect the shower to be the Niagara-Falls.

The location was great, right in front of the Nam Xong River. You can walk out of your cottages and go right to the river. It is just a 5-10 minutes leisurely walk from the city centre. You can book buggies, tours and anything else easily. Our cottages didn't have a lot of mosquitoes in December. Stay was comfortable. It is also on the side of the river closer to Blue Lagoon 1, Angel Cave and Above Laos Hot Air Balloon company. Owner was supportive, but speaking in English will require some expert usage of Google Translate.

Location might look a bit precarious to some as it is between two wooden bridges which were not so sturdy. For the uninitiated, this might be scary. The rooms were just big enough for two people.

Helpful owners, nice place to stay and relax. Don't forget to visit their restaurant which is nearby at the river.

Owners were polite and helpful, even though communication was not easy sometimes. Possibility to rent a bike, which was brought up to us in like 10 minutes.

Breakfast was great and cost 35,000kip Property is on the river with several sitting areas on the river and others just above the river.great place to sit and enjoy the evening or shelter from the hest
