It was close to the center and Malioboro Street, looked nice and clean on pictures.

La nostra aveva un letto singolo con un materasso estraibile. I materassi erano di buona qualità! Pulizia ok, anche se il lavandino non era il massimo ed alcune parti della doccia non proprio pulite. La signora è stata super disponibile e gentile!

La camera è piccola per gli standard europei. La stanza è rumorosa, poiché passano molti scooter durante la notte. La pulizia è migliorabile. Manca un armadio, utile in caso di soggiorni più lunghi.

Although they supplied earplugs right away, the noise from the street is really loud. A couple cannot really sleep together in one bed.

LaWang Yogya Guesthouse is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly place right near the heart of Yogyakarta. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the lively Malioboro Street, with lots of shops and street food nearby. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and everything was very clean. Internet was really strong.

However, because it’s so central, it can get quite noisy, especially in the evenings. It’s ideal for a short stay of one or two nights if you want to explore the city center.
