Argya Guesthouse

This feedback is unusual, as it's for both the property and Booking.com customer service. We arrived at the property on the day we booked, planning to share a room with three friends. However, the room wasn't ready because the manager forgot about us. After checking the room, we decided not to stay. It was much smaller than the photos suggested, and the only window barely opened, creating a claustrophobic atmosphere with little natural air. The room might be okay for one person, but it's cramped for two and unsuitable for three or four. We left the property and didn't stay there, but the real frustration began with Booking.com's customer service. I've spent over four hours trying to resolve this, but their responses via email have been unhelpful, repetitive, and automated. The app also made it difficult to get attention, and when they finally responded, they seemed to misunderstand the situation entirely. This review is for both the poor service from Booking.com and the property, which lacked the basic requirements of ventilation and adequate space.

Everything was just so clean and comfortable. 1. The owner (Pak Adi) is so warm and friendly. 2. The location is in the center of the city. 3. Breakfast was ready at 7 AM. 4. We can make coffee or tea anytime. 5. We can arrive and depart anytime from or to the guesthouse. 6. The price was very good value for money. 7. Pak Adi is so responsive and so helpful when we ask anything such as requesting to borrow a hairdryer and early/late check-in/out.

1. The shower water is not really strong 2. Air conditioner was around 30 minutes until the room is cool

Wi fi didn't work, as a cover for the bed we got only unbleached blanket

Small but cozy, homey vibe, clean, delicious breakfast, owner is very welcoming, polite and courteous. Eventhough it was only an overnight stay we feel very comfortable

Since the house is located in an alley, for those who came with a car the parking lot is very limited
