My host Anthony was very hospitable and made my stay very enjoyable.

I liked everything about my accommodation.

Best breakfast, loved host sharing cooking skills with culinary student grandson, even though old was splendidly appointed

This is a lovely period hotel and restaurant. Lots of interesting features. Comfortable room, great size and very clean. Food is beautiful so do have breakfast whilst you stay. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Was able to park outside the hotel.

I have no complaints about this hotel. Just be aware that eating out options in Charlestown are limited in the week. So you may need to travel further to properly eat out. Some of the local pubs did not provide food but there are some quick takeaway options.

It’s a family run guesthouse that makes you feel right at home, like you already know them. It’s quaint, local and very close to Charlestown’s restaurants and pubs. Pat & Carol

Die Nähe zum Flughafen. Wir waren in 10 Minuten dort. Frühstück konnten wir nicht wahrnehmen, da wir früh zum Flughafen mussten.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Alles ist eng und sehr schief, im kleinen Bett hatte man das Gefühl, nach unten zu rutschen. Bereits beim Eintreten nahm man einen muffigen Geruch wahr, der im Zimmer nicht besser wurde. Auch das Bad roch modrig. Am frühen Morgen nahm man auf dem Flur ein Gestank nach Zigarettenrauch wahr. Ein Sammelsurium an Toilettenartikel sowie ein Fön für die Allgemeinheit wurde in einem Korb im Flur angeboten. Ansonsten stand im Bad ein Seifenspender zur Verfügung, der gleichzeitig Duschgel und Shampoo ersetzte. Der Besitzer wies uns darauf hin, dass die Lampe im Bad defekt sei und wir die Spiegelleuchte mit benutzen sollten...von der allerdings auch nur eine Seite funktionierte. Alles in allem waren wir sehr enttäuscht und können absolut nicht nachvollziehen, wie man die Unterkunft so hoch bewerten kann!
