Coalbrookdale Villa

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Victoria made us feel very welcome with her thoughtfulness and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with many choices.

There wasn't anything we disliked. We felt very fortunate that we had found such a wonderful place.

Coalbrookedale Villa is an amazing bed and breakfast. The location is central to the Ironbridge area, and is in easy walking distance to all of the historical sites. It's tucked away off the main roads and has beautiful, peaceful views. Victoria is a wonderful, welcoming host, who very thoughtfully helped me with my travel logistics and even checked in while I was out to make sure I was able to get to and from OK. My room was very clean and cozy, and had all the things I needed plus thoughtful extras (water, tea, coffee, cookies!). I wish I could have stayed longer!

If you need to use a taxi service and are traveling from outside of the UK, be aware that the Telford area taxis have consolidated to a single service, and at the time of this writing you will most likely need to pay your driver by cash (the local taxi app actually looks to be impressively made, but sadly cannot send the payment link text to non-UK phone numbers). You may want to let the taxi service know that there is limited cell service immediately around the villa. This is no ding on Coalbrookdale Villa though!

It was peaceful and comfortable

My room floors a little creaky but the good outweighs this.

Victoria is an incredible host, lovely room and a nice walking distance from Ironbridge. The breakfast is amazing and the honesty bar very reasonable and well stocked. Lovely garden to sit and enjoy a drink in the evening sun. Great communication leading up to our stay. Highly recommended.

We liked everything about our stay at coalbrookdale villa. Victoria was the perfect host. We were welcomed with tea and scones in the garden. Our room and the rest of the guest house was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely with fresh homade food. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the accommodation and would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved everything about Coalbrookdale Villa. The very warm welcome from Victoria with scones, tea and coffee was such a nice treat. The building itself is wonderful and it’s only a short walk into Ironbridge. All in all, one the best B&B’s and a credit to Victoria. We will be returning.
