Coalbrookdale Villa

Lovely old hotel. Victoria was a fabulous host, with attention to every little detail. Location was superb, with on-site parking, and just a short stroll down the hill from the main Ironbridge High Street, and all local museums, restaurants, pubs and the river front all within walking distance.

Victoria was are host and nothing was to much trouble for her. The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. If you go there you will not be disappointed.

Victoria was a perfect host, so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfasts are delicious. The villa is an old gothic style mansion house wonderfully decorated in keeping with its history and tradition. Located in a wonderful quiet lane aptly named Paradise! We found it very romantic and super convenient for for the Ironbridge Gorge and its literally world changing history.

The location was perfect and everything about it was lovely. The host Victoria couldn't do enough for you including a beautiful breakfast and the room was smart and comfortable. Only downside was I didn't have long to spend in the room as was out most of the time! There was also a real personal touch with a little newsletter addressed to me in my room when I arrived. Also were very accommodating of my dietary requirements. I would highly recommend and will definitely book here again next time am up in Telford

Breakfast was superb. Fresh fruit. Poached eggs were perfect. No rushing . Rooms were immaculate and had everything you needed. A ten minute easy walk to town and choice of pubs and restaurants Victoria was non stop at making you feel great and nothing was too much for her. Such a lovely personality! I loved the lawn mower robot!!! 😊

Fantastic place. You can feel the love and hard work of the owner in every step, in every tiny detail. It's a place with a soul that I will return to soon. As a guest, you feel under the care of Victoria as if you had come to a family waiting for you for a long time. Huge praise for creating the atmosphere of this place and for how I felt there right after entering it, even despite the business nature of my stay. Thank you for everything and see you soon.

Victoria was exceptional as a host. Food was absolutely delicious and the welcome tea and scones on arrival was wonderful and most appreciated. Location, room and facilities are excellent. Highly recommended by us. Guest garden is wonderful and the various places to rest in the garden. Onsite parking. Short walk to the ironbridge. Very pleasant short walk ,some of the pubs are a bit expensive so it pays to shop around! We had a lovely midweek roast in the Tortine hotel was lush.

Not one single negative comment is deserved. This property is great for either single people or couples.

Loved the welcome - Victoria met us at the door and invited us in to enjoy tea and scones. Topped up the teapot and sat chatting with us for as long as we liked. It felt like being welcomed in to a good friend's house.

Can't think of anything that could be improved. Comfortable bed, great shower, everywhere clean and a friendly hostess. Deserves a perfect score.
