NIsmo imali priliku da udjemo u stan, jer nas je zakupodavac presumerio u drugi smestaj. Jedina svetla tačka u celom iskustvu bila je gospođa koja vodi računa o alternativnom smeštaju – izuzetno ljubazna, profesionalna i posvećena, trudila se da nam maksimalno olakša boravak.

Although we had communicated with the host the day before our arrival, he only reached out on the morning of our check-in, around 9 AM, informing us that there was a plumbing issue in the originally booked apartment and that we would be moved to a "similar" accommodation. Unfortunately, the new place was far from similar — it had one less room, no kitchen or living area, and the bedroom had no door, directly connecting to a space where two other people were staying. This setup offered zero privacy, which was especially inconvenient given that we are colleagues, making the arrangement highly inappropriate. The new apartment was significantly smaller, and while an additional room was offered to us, it came at an extra cost — something we found completely unacceptable. The apartment itself was clean and charming, but it faced a wall, and the terrace was shared with another room, allowing others to potentially enter or observe our space while we slept. The most surprising part was learning from locals that the original apartment has had ongoing plumbing and odor issues for months, and is still listed online. It seems to be used as bait for reservations, with guests routinely redirected to alternative accommodations. Despite all this, we were charged the full price of the original booking, which added to the sense of unprofessionalism and disregard. The only positive aspect of our experience was the woman managing the alternative apartment — she was exceptionally kind, professional, and did her best to make our stay more comfortable. Sadly, the overall experience was disappointing, and we would not book through this listing again. Had the communication been more transparent and the pricing adjusted to reflect the actual conditions, we might have been more understanding. As it stands, the entire situation felt deeply inappropriate.

Bit hard to find, no signage on the house. It took some time to find the place without a description

UNACCEPTABLE, I had a confirmed reservation for the night, so that day we arrived at the adress, I contacted the owner who told us the apartment wasn’t available anymore for whatever reason. So, we got there with all our luggage and no place to go. The owner proposed a solution and sent a colleague to meet us at the square. After waiting 30 minutes, she took us to a place far away from the city that had nothing to do with the first place we booked. One large bed and two couches instead of the 5 beds. Furthermore, she asked us to pay a price way above the quality of the apartment, but being our last day in Montenegro, we would settle for this for a discounted price so we won’t waste time and have time to enjoy the beach and visit the city. She would not hear it and told us to leave. We then spent 2 hours looking for another place which at last minute cost us three time the price, so all in all we lost most of the day and didn’t have much time to do anything by the time we got to the hotel. If at least we got a notification that the place was no longer available days before, we would have be able to find another place and not lose a full day . Unprofessional and unacceptable situation !

Chouette appartement, très grand en plein centre de Herceg Novi. La situation est vraiment le plus de cet appartement car en plein milieu de la vieille ville.

Excellent location in the heart of old town, exceptionally clean, very well airconditioned, excellent comunication with the staff... Place looks better than showed in pictures.
