Excellent location, mostly clean. OK breakfast.

Room exit was direcrly in a side street with car traffic. Bathroom was opened directly into the sleeping area. Room very small. Location itself was great tho.

The property is well located within Monemvasia and the exterior grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was fine and the staff were lovely.

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms were extremely dark and dingy, with only two small lamps, the mattress was not comfortable and the linens were outdated along with all of the furniture. The bathroom was extremely small and flooded every time we showered, and we didn't have enough hot water. The hairdryer was old and weak. Our TV did not work. On the second night someone checked in to the room above us and the noise was far too loud and sounded like banging. Finally, the reception experience was lacking and a man was smoking in there when we first went in. All in all a really unpleasant experience and it was far too expensive for what it was. I'm not sure why this is rated as a four-star hotel when it should only have two stars. A real shame that they haven't updated the interior since it was first built as the exterior is so lovely.

Le petit déjeuner décevant

A very characteristic hotel in a perfect location within walking distance to the Gefira town and Monemvasia old town and own parking. The rooms are quiet and clean. The swimming pool (of course) didn't work during our stay in December, but there is a place to swim right in front of the hotel. The atmosphere was perfect for us.

Perfect location. Five minutes walk from the town and ten minutes walk from the castle. Charger for our electric car, very good breakfast which you can have in the garden if the weather allows, looking at the sea and the mountain behind you. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and beautiful, made with stone and wood.

There was no real privacy from the glass bathroom door and the bathroom itself could easily get flooded from the shower water. The mattresses were not that comfortable in either of the beds (double and single). There were no instructions for internet access in the room, and the ones they gave us when we asked, didn't work.
