The property was ideally situated within walking distance of the shops including Gunwharf Quay and my family The apartment had everything you needed including a very good selection of toiletries clean linen The bed was very comfortable The price was excellent 👌 for such a central location

No air conditioning in shower room

The property was well maintained

This was not as advertised but is an issue with booking.com more than it is with the owner. Booking.com listed this as having aircon when it did not, and I was advised by some staff that this is an ongoing issue with the platform. When I raised this, the handler taking my call was extremely rude.

The agent was extremely helpful and the communication was excellent leading up to our stay and afterwards. 5 star

The apartment staircase had a strange musty smell throughout, thank fully this was not the case in the room. When other guests opened their apartment doors it, sounded as though they were entering your apartment. You could hear everything and the sound proofing was poor. The worst part about the room was the walk in shower. This completely soaked the whole of the bathroom floor making it difficult to use the toilet and face washing areas without getting your socks wet and you had to remove trainers otherwise it became a mud fest. Being wet made the floor tiles extremely slippery and dangerous. The double bed was past its shelf life and requires a new mattress. The springs were not great to sleep on.

It was cosy, not too small which I found in some places. We had the room with the balcony which was nice for the morning air as it was still quite muggy. Had all the facilities except an oven but we made do :) there was oil which was quite good as we almost always forget to get some! There was a smart TV so we could access prime etc

I didn't like the bathroom door but I understand why they used it. I was concerned where the floor pooled it would fall into the main room. Could I also suggest maybe a bath mat outside the bathroom where you step down, just for safety reasons as we used one of the hand towels so we didn't slip.

Amazing location and property. I will be back again soon . Nice bright and airy apartment and couldn't hear much from the other guests which is ideal.

The remote for the TV wasn't great and the pillows a little stiff for my liking but honestly can't fault the place
