Tahan Guest House

Le propriétaire très gentil et la fille qui travaille à la réception. J’avais une chambre privée avec ma propre toilette et douche donc top. L’emplacement génial! Vous êtes vraiment à 5 minutes de tout. :)

La douche dans la toilette qui, en somme ne m’a pas dérangé tant que ça, mais tout est trop petit. Pas d’espace donc très dur de se doucher sans en mettre partout et le jet d’eau pas assez puissant. La toilette est en hauteur donc risque de glisser si vous venez de vous doucher ou que le sol est encore mouillé. L’évier était cassé, l’eau du robinet fuitait et pas d’espace pour déposer les produits donc c’était embêtant quand même..

The owners were super friendly and welcoming. I was picked up and dropped at the bus station. Price was very good for what you get.

The neighbouring Mosque can be a bit loud.

The Price was cheap (at least for what we thought we would get) and the Location is okay. Not specially good just okay.

The Reception Woman could not Speak English. She tried to tell us that we only booked for 2 nights, which was not true, we booked for 3 nights. Then she wanted us to pay an additional night so we can sleep 3 nights there. Anyway, that was not needed because we left a day early because: 1) The Hotel is dirty as hell. 4 real there is dirt everywhere, dust, and a little bit of mold. 2) The Shower is on top of the toilet. You cannot shower properly. But that would be okay, but you only have cold water. 3) You don't have AC (But that's written in the Description that you won't have so we knew). 4) The Mosque is right beside the hotel so you will hear lots of a lot of religious chants at any time of day or night. 5) You hear everything from all the rooms and passage ways. Literally everything. 6) On the toilet brush were still the remains of the previous visitor's toilet visit Sorry for the bad quality photos, I had to make screenshots of a video I sent my family. But i think my points are visible.

L'établissement est situé un peu plus loin du centre, ce qui permet d'être au calme. Le rapport qualité prix est intéressant et les tours proposés sont sympas.

La communication pour connaître les points de rendez-vous et les détails serait à améliorer. Il n'y a pas d'eau chaude pour la douche.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen vom Zentrum in einer Seitenstraße und deshalb sehr ruhig. Die Hauptstraße,  der Fluss und die Restaurants sind aber im 2-3 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen. Der Host (Hamid) und seine Familie sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben Touren (2d/1n inner Jungle) direkt im Hostel gebucht. (Gleicher Preis) Hamid hat uns dann zu den jeweiligen Treffpunkten gefahren und dort vor Ort alles für uns geregelt (Registrierung etc.) Die Zimmerausstattung ist sehr einfach gehalten und nur das nötigste vorhanden. Diese sind allerdings sehr liebevoll und bund verziert, sodass man sich sehr willkommen fühlt. Wir würden Tahans Guest House weiterempfehlen,  da es für die paar Nächte in Kuala Tahan ausreicht und der Preis absolut fair ist. Wer mit den kleinen Mängel nicht klar kommt oder etwas mehr Komfort wünscht, sollte etwas mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen.

The host was very friendly and helped us with booking the tour and transfers. Enough privacy and a beautiful view into the jungle!

It was very loud five times a day. Only ventilators, but sufficiently cool.
