Good location Good mattress

Nails are sticking out of the bed and there is a radiator in the shower cabin. Moreover the manager tried to swindle me.. I read he might on the other comments but he did try to make me pay almost 10 more euros than the price given on booking. When I refused, he acted as if he was offended but he finally agree to make me pay less (eve. Though it was more than the initial price). The other persons from the staff, the cleaning staff etc were very nice.

The location is perfect and the place was easy to find. The restaurant downstairs is very nice as well. The location next to the river side is great for evening walks. The room also had a heated towel rail inside the shower for the winter times

The mattress was slightly firmer than expected but we slept well as well 😄

It is exactly in the city center, near the Danube. Has a restaurant. The staff is funny and helpful. Even the room has an oldish style, everything was clean

the walls are thin, you can hear the neighbours.

issues with payment. the management/staff didnt allow paying through booking.com, which is questionable at least, and very uncomfortable, i had to tinker with manually wire them the money per banktransfer after a longer back-and-forth on the phone with staff and the manager, had gaps in communication and a lot of uncomfortable moments that we could have all saved ourselves, had they just booked the money from my creditcard like every other hotel does without a problem. they even told me that they prefer to be payed in cash on location, which makes it impossible for people like me; accomodating friends or family while i’m not actually on there, therefore not being able to pay cash on location. obviously. i had the impression that they were not aware of how booking.com is actually backing them up from having sketchy customers “running away without paying for the room”, as the bookingsystem requires a creditcard and all personal data, so nobody can leave without paying. i wish they would know this.
