Green View Guest House

The owner and the receptionist were extremely friendly and ready to help. You can have very tasty food downstairs in the common area or you can order it up to your room. The mountain view is fantastic and you I soent some wonderful evenings out on my balcony looking at the lights of Mcleodganj.

The only drawback is that you have to climb up a VERY long and steep flight of stairs to get to Yogiwara Road (which is one of the main roads in Mcleodganj).

The staff were excellent and helped us with any issues we had. The birdsong in the morning was great to wake upto. The place was clean and well maintained and great value for money. The owner was very friendly and went out of his way to help us.

The only issue are the 120 odd stone steps leading down to the property from the main high street. Every day we had to then climb these back up to go anywhere. Got us fit , I suppose but still not the sort of place for any person with physical issues.

Very nice experience while staying in hotel. Nicest owner in the town plus highly dedicated staff. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful stay. Cleanliness of hotel is beyond expectation.

It would be nice to install screens on the windows so that you can ventilate the room. The food was not very tasty
