welcome and general flwxibility was very good; not having breakfast was ok [we recommend the rooftop cafe in Boyes]

the single glazing of the windows meant the room got rather cold in a late October evening without any heating

When we booked it said private bathroom and I was sceptical but the bathroom was actually in the room so was really pleased

That there was no breakfast as we do usually book bed & breakfast

The lady who checked us in was lovely and the room was clean, the location was great not far from the town centre and the beach.

We had a choice between a shower or a tv which I didn’t think was great considering we had paid £70. We were told we could either have a room with a shower but the tv didn’t work or we could have a room with a tv working and the shower not working. When paying £70 you expect to have both really quite disappointing but luckily was only in for one night. The bed wasn’t very comfy either and smelt a little bit damp in the room.
