A casa da serra - alojamento local

So first of all, you don't really rent a house but get the whole 2nd floor to yourself. The owners live on the 1st floor. It is quite big and good for a family. The house furniture is more of a traditional sort made of heavy wood and leather. I like the area of Serra de Aire, and it is a good spot to start exploring it. The communication was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. Free parking space.

Be aware that the check-in time is very late. The house is located next to a main road. It was pretty quiet during the nighttime, but the wake-up call was too early for me. If your height is more than 1.80 cm, like me, the bed will be too short for you (I slept diagonally).

The house is an awesome place to stay, tidy comfortable, and silent. Perfect fit for anyone chasing the absolute silence of the wilderness while maintaining the comfort of a cozy apartment. And more, the host has been incredibly supportive and welcoming when we faced difficulties.
