Below this little hotel was a jazz club that was open until 2AM and had tables outside. My room was just about right above it. There were no screens on the one window that opened and across this little alleyway were many pigeons living in the gutted out old building. One flew in. They said it had a private bath. Yes there was a toilet but what they called a shower was a step up to an open area, where there was a hose attached to a faucet quite close to the floor, meaning it was good for washing your feet and possibly nether regions.

Everything. Jazz bar underneath open til late music good so no problem for me .

Sehr tolle Lage direkt in der Altstadt von Chania. Frühstück gibt es in einem Café in der Nähe mit Blick auf den alten Hafen. Das Zimmer hatte eine fantastische Dachterrasse. Es sind viele enge Treppen zu gehen, daher nur für Personen ohne Einschränkungen geeignet.

Man hört die angrenzende Bar die halbe Nacht, generell ist es bis in die frühen Morgenstunden recht laut.

A beautiful property with the comfiest bed ever! I booked this pretty last minute and had a response within 5 minutes back to confirm my pickup from the airport. The taxi driver picked me up and then walked me to the property so I didn’t get lost (I was solo travelling!) and when I arrived there was a lovely welcome note on the door. The room was gorgeous and clean with a little balcony. The location was perfect, a short walk to everywhere but it was so peaceful and quiet at night for a restful sleep. I left my eye patches in the fridge when I left and sadly the cleaner had binned them when I reached out, of which the owner said she would get me some new ones and I could collect them another day as I’ll be back near the old town - so kind and thoughtful! The bar downstairs is really lovely too for a drink in the evening. So glad I booked!

Super emplacement en ville, la chambre est un petit cocon, Mata est très serviable et super sympa ! C’est propre, joli et fonctionnel avec un super rapport qualité/prix.

Tout était top mais attention il y a un bar jazz en bas des chambres ça peut être un peu bruyant.

Außergewöhnliche Lage mitten in der Altstadt von Chania. Kleine schmale Gassen, sehr schöne Häuser und alte Stadthäuser die zum Teil als Restaurant ausgebaut wurden. Freundliche Leute überall in der Altstadt. Am schönsten am Abend wenn die meisten Tagestouristen wieder weg sind. Das Zimmer war klein, aber es war alles vorhanden. Ein paar schmale Stiegen rauf und wir hatten eine wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit Rundumblick. Nur ein paar Schritte und man konnte gut Frühstücken. Mata die Hauschefin hat uns ein paar Tipps gegeben. Gut Essen, mit dem Bus zum Strand, usw... Mata war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Zimmermädchen, Sophia war eine äußerst freundliche Person. Beide konnten gut Englisch und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden.

I loved everything about our stay especially the friendliness of Mata and Sophia. The location is excellent and the breakfast cafe also excellent. Service exceptional, the room the cleaned every day to perfection. 💯 recommend
