La Cotte The Manor House

The location is perfect, a short walk from the Franschook Main Street. It is lovely and quiet, a beautiful spot and very tranquil. The breakfast is fantastic and has a beautiful view over the gardens.

It would be nice if you could order a drink from the bar after the restaurant closes at 4PM. Room service would also be ideal when you want to stay in.

For the two nights we were there music was blaring all day from a marquee next door. So unbearable that we couldn’t sit outside and had to leave the hotel. No communication from the hotel management until it got to 4:30pm on the second day where we complained and were offered earplugs to lie outside with.

Beautiful place and great rooms as well as amenities. Delicious breakfast!

Excellent overall. Just one area for improvement is staff training at the reception. First thing they say is when they close and don’t bother to propose carrying a bag when escorting you to the room.

Room was very cosy with amazing bed and bathroom. The reception staff was very nice and helpfull.
