Franschhoek Village House

Well appointed, peaceful location and yet easy access to town and all amenities. Lovely outdoor area with good dining seating and swimming options. we have stayed here before and was just as good we remembered it. Good AC and wifi when power on (load shedding obviously can limit this but that is a national issue and not the property!). Lamps and candles and gas stove and large braai mean can still enjoy the property when shedding is happening. Great support from Candice if any queries or issues and easy check in/out procedure.

Perfect walking distance to Wine Tram over the road and Pick and Pay. Comfort and ease of use in the property is amazing as well as contact from owners about how to access the property. We used the Braai one night and worked a treat in the outdoor area. Will definitely be back! xx

Small amount of road noise if using pool area during the day. Quiet at night

I absolutely love this house. It is the second time I booked this specific accommodation in Franschhoek. It is tastefully decorated, big but cosy and welcoming - I booked it for my daughter and her bridesmaids to get ready in for her wedding.

A stunning and spacious house only a couple of minutes walk from the wine tram. Stunning pool and BBQ area which we didn't have time to use but would be lovely for a family or group of friends. Very conveniently located, close to the town centre. Very tastefully decorated with good security.

The only improvement we would suggest is for the host to greet guests on arrival to make it feel more welcoming and homely. It would have been helpful to have a quick run through of the buttons on the remote (gate, garage, panic button etc.). We accidentally set off the panic alarm, but reassuringly a private security guard did turn up shortly after to assess the situation!
