Huguenot House

Spacious, luxurious feel to the rooms, bathrooms and house itself... Friendly, helpful staff and owner. Nice breakfast apart from overfried bacon. Reasonably priced for Franschoek.

A personal gripe was the floppy pillows as I like a firmer pillow... Bacon doesn't need to be fried to a crisp to be cooked...

The homestead was beautiful, stylish and the staff were all so lovely! The bed and linen - amazing! Loved the high ceilings in the room and the little patio.

If I had to nit pick, there was a lingering smell in the bathroom (think the drain in the basin or coming from toilet?) I think utensils in the room could be good - even if disposable as you may bring a takeaway back. And then a suggestion - a bar or lounge area would be an amazing addition for the guest house and possibly a swimming pool so guest can enjoy. Those are just suggestions as it's the most amazing property.

Large and spacious room. great and friendly service. breakfast was great as well and very carrying stuff. place is immaculately clean , safe with great views from the garden in the morning...
