Sie waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die lage ist zwar etwas ausserhalb aber sehr schön und ruhig gelegen.

The property was clean and homely. The bedding was fresh and the pillows plump. I also liked the low-light and lamp being in the room. The location is quiet and makes for a good night sleep. The staff were very warm, welcoming and accommodating.

Our stay at Marianna was a mixed experience with both positive and negative aspects. Starting with the positives: The host was very friendly and accommodating. The property is located about 15 minutes from the town, offering a quiet setting, though this means a scooter or other transport is necessary to get around easily. A highlight of our stay was the water dispenser on the veranda, which was always filled and available 24/7—a thoughtful and appreciated service. Breakfast was offered on the first day, though we decided to eat out instead. Unfortunately, on the following days, the breakfast service fell short of expectations—despite arrangements, our bell was ignored, leaving us to start the day on an empty stomach.

However, there were significant issues that dampened our experience. Nights were often noisy due to the property's own dogs and stray animals in the area. The festive Christmas decorations, while done with care, were too bright and lit up our room, as the curtains were not blackout. We simply unplugged the lights ourselves to get proper rest. On the second day, we began noticing an itching sensation on our backs/arsm and legs, which worsened by the third day. After our departure, we discovered we had been bitten by bedbugs. We immediately informed the host, but the response was disappointing. They denied having bedbugs and mentioned that the room had already been rented out again. Overall, we had higher hopes for our stay. While the host’s friendliness and the small perks, like the water dispenser, were appreciated, the negative experiences—particularly the noise, lack of proper curtains, and especially the bedbug issue—outweighed the positives. The unprofessional handling of the bedbug situation leaves us unable to recommend this property.

Very friendly and helpful host!

Great staff, very accommodating and kind. Location is very nice, about 10 minutes to the beach walking, 2 minutes with a motorbike. It was possible to rent a motorbike on site as well as to get food, very convenient! I recommend to rent a motorbike as San Vicente only has 2 restaurants and both are in the city center located a few kilometres away. Not possible through walking.

There are a lot of mosquitoes, makes sure to take some spray or cream to save yourself from bites!

Nice place but a little bit far away from a city. We had scooter and that was perfekt. The people are very friendly and helpful. We liked the place because it was quiet and cosy and good for relaxing. We also loved the dogs and puppies there:) Fritz and Lena from Germany

It is always about the people you met. And these were absolutely perfect. Very helpful, very kind.

Loud AC but we can live with that.
