I had a very unpleasant stay. The place felt more like a slum than a cottage. There were spider webs on the furniture, and the washroom was in terrible condition — the bidet had almost no pressure, the door was broken, and the roof was made of an old hut-style material where insects could easily get in. Thankfully, I didn’t see any rats. The wash basin was tiny, more like a bowl, making it difficult to wash properly. The owner was annoyed even when I politely asked to refill water, and nothing was ever fixed despite raising issues. The worst part? I found a worm in my pancake. When I complained, the owner acted like it was normal and reluctantly gave me fried rice instead. I had booked a double room, so I tried to order both a pancake and fried rice, but the owner refused to let me order two items at once. The place is extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and there are no nearby restaurants either. I do not recommend staying here.

Awesome value for price. Staff were friendly, helpful and kind. Sharing a bit of their culture and happy to chat or give you privacy. The bed was clean and comfortable. If you are on a budget highly recommend this place and also try out the epic fried chicken next door. Location is walking distance from the port super practical . Would suggest downloading maps of the island before arriving.

Internet cut in and out due to the weather and minor problem with the shower

When we arrived we got 2 rooms that were not cleaned at all. We had booked 2 rooms with garden views but did not get them. The rooms we got were dirty, no towels, no soap, no towel paper, trash on the floor and dirty sheets in the bed. Pictures on booking.com dont match with the reality. The shower in the toilet and sink were extremely sink. Staff promised to clean these but even after extra cleaning they were dirty (see pictures). No safety boxes in rooms and locks on the doors did not work very well. We decided not to stay in this place and booked another place

Bed hard and no flat sheet

A beautiful cosy homestay in a local area near the pier. The family welcomed us warmly and eagerly helped us to organise scooter rental and snorkelling tours. The room was spatious and clean, and we enjoyed a fresh breakfast each morning.

A little bit noisy as beside the main road.
