Golden Hill Guesthouse

Die Lage ist top! Man ist sehr schnell in der Partymeile, hat aber durch die Lage einen ruhigen Schlafplatz. Der Balkon & Klimaanlage war herrlich.

Die Matratze waren teilweise sehr durch gelegen. Die Federung war spürbar. Das Personal kann nur bedingt englisch.

El colchón era MUY viejo y se notaban todos los muelles La almohada igual, muy dura. Hemos pasado malas noches por eso.

Simple, but clean room. Good wifi. Nice swimming pool, but 5 minutes walk away at another hotel. Friendly staff, free coffee in the morning.

Our stay was decent, the room was okay, and the shower area tended to accumulate water near the sink, but I guess that’s expected for the price. The problem was during checkout: the lady tried to charge us 5,000 baht for damage on the wall that was already there. As you can see in the picture, that’s damage from the building itself, not something caused by anyone. When we refused to pay 5,000, she suddenly reduced it to 1,000, which we ended up paying only because we were in a hurry to catch our ferry. I’ve reported the place to Booking.

Close to town and viewpoint. Also they gave us coffee in the morning!

Our experience here was quite frustrating. Communication with the staff was almost impossible — they couldn’t explain anything properly. We wanted to extend our stay for one more night, but no one told us that we would have to pay a bit more if we wanted to keep the same room. Because of this, we had to move to another room, which was really inconvenient. In the end, it felt like they just wanted to take more money from us, even if that wasn’t their intention. They only communicated to tell us about a charity for money, which was confusing and didn’t make much sense. Definitely not a good experience.

Très bien, avec une piscine extérieure superbe et cosy. Le personnel est très sympa.
