Great location & view.

DO NOT stay here. We actually left early. First the view is absolutely beautiful! However, when you charge $500 a night you have to provide more than just a view. The air-conditioning did not work on arrival & the room temp was 94 degrees. It was unbearable. We got the runaround and explanation and no these units do not work on Central air! Barbara manager said that it wasn’t her responsibility. Then whose responsibility is it? She clearly has been giving this story one too many times and we called her out on it. We had to beg for standing fan and the one they brought us was probably about 30 years old because she didn’t want to travel back from La Spezia. Low effort all around in her part. Clearly, she didn’t see this as part of her job and we were not directed to somebody who could help us. Not being able to get somebody to fix an air conditioning unit over four days that there had clearly been problems with before because of the plaster and water stains on the wall; It’s just terrible service. Because of the heat, there was a major ant infestation. I have videos and they got our bags and clothes and towels. Run.

Most beautiful view from the terrace! On the hottest day of the year, room AC kept it cool and comfortable. Absolute highlight of our trip!
