Exceptional location with a postcard view. Balcony and rooftop made it unique and spacious.

It was, in my opinion, the best location in Riomaggiore. On our first night in Riomaggiore, we had a double room with sea view and partial view of the colorful buildings that make Riomaggiore such a photographer's delight. It was an otherwise simple room with queen bed. The bathroom was nice but the shower is kind of small. Worked well for me and my daughter, but a bigger person may have issues moving around in there. On our 2nd night in Riomaggiore, we had a Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View. The shower was bigger than the one we had the evening before (one floor up). The balcony was a huge plus. We ate lunch up there, people watched, and even admired the stars from there. On our arrival, we fortunately had help from Roberto, the one porter in that part of Riomaggiore to bring our bags from the train station steps in the over 90 degree heat. On our departure, we had to lug our luggage back to the train station ourselves early in the morning to avoid the heat and so as not to hold up people in all the narrow stairs, since we had to stop often to rest. Despite all the 140 or so steps (up & down) leading up to the apartment from the train station, it was totally worth the stay. If I come back within the next 10 years, I may still be able to handle the luggage up & down all the steps.

The apartment was cozy and in a warm peach color with green accents throughout. Despite all the steps leading up to the apartment, it was worth the stay.

The welcome message we received via Booking.com messaging provided directions, check-in details, etc., which were helpful, but it would've been good if the info for the porter were provided. Had we not run into Roberto in person with his truck close to the steps to the train station, we would not have been able to arrange for him to help with our bags. There are approx 140 steps (up & down) between the train station steps and along the side of the hill leading up to Ai Pesci. Needless to say, unless you're super strong, lugging heavy suitcases is a challenge, esp on a very hot day.

I didn't like being woken up at 6 am by the cleaning woman who spent about 5-10 min straight banging around buckets and plastic bags. Not sure what she was doing (almost sounded like she was annoyed or something). Her closet of cleaning equipment was the door right next to ours.

The room had an unbelievable location as 10 mins of left from the train station with minimal climbing of steps. The view was incredible, we stayed in room 103 which had the balcony and the rooftop which really made the stay as we watch the sunset. The room was squeaky clean and well stocked on juices and pastries.

Although pricy it really made our trip very special and was the highlight of our trip.

Exceptional location, as everyone else has said! Sparkling wine on arrival was a lovely touch and we really enjoyed taking all our meals on the balcony. Great 'little touches' like mosquito repellant, good beach towels, and a few snacks.

Amazing location and view. Room 301 will give you private roof top and balcony off room. Nice to relax above the chaos below and watch the sunset.
