Cinema Riad

The host was nice, spoke english and was always very polite. The location was close enough to the main street (about 2min walking) and the bedroom and bathroom were both spacious. Breakfast was ok.

For starters it was not exactly as advertised, the reviews do not exactly match what we saw. The fan was falling apart and the bathroom even though it was clean when we flushed there was a leak which wet the floor. We asked the host for a recommendation for dinner and he sent us to a restaurant which was a scam and had various google comments stating so.

Lovely accommodation. Mohammed was extremely helpful during and even after the stay, checking that I had arrived at my next destination safely. Beautiful terrace, great breakfast. Highly recommend!

As a first time visitor to Morocco and first time solo travelling female i was anxious but as soon as I arrived at the Riad Mohammed gave me the best welcome and was especially nice to have tea on the beautiful roof terrace! I had great sleep and breakfast was plentiful. The views here are absolutely stunning too! I am looking forward to returning to Cinema Riad again soon! Mohammed was very helpful recommending restaurants and giving directions, he even made me a takeaway breakfast for my flight home.

Host of property is a nice guy, breakfast was good one and it was nice to have it on a terrace. Be aware it’s not so easy to find Riad and if you come by car you will most likely park it next to mosque. If you have a light sleep take into consideration that door or windows are not sealed properly so praise and noises from street could wake you up. In our case it was a wedding which had happened close to Riad and after long travel we couldn’t fall asleep.Host told us that this time of the year weddings started to be organized so have it in mind while booking (we were there at end of April).

Bathroom since it’s super small for tall people might be an issue to use, especially shower. There are no curtains so after a shower everything is wet.

Welcoming staff, amazing terrace, beautiful room.

Unfortunately for the two days spent in the Riad there was always a very strong smell of sewer. The staff provided parfume candles to make the situation better.

Mohammed was an amazing host, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. He stayed up late for us to arrive back from a trip and then got up early to make us breakfast an hour before it was scheduled. Exemplary host. Super cool view from the terrace, looking out over the oasis. Also amazing decor with cool film cameras and pictures.

It was quite far out from other things we wanted to do, but it’s in such a nice neighbourhood so you feel very safe and secure.
